Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel

Novotel Suvarnabhumi Airport Hotel, Bangkok is only a five minute walk from Bangkoks new international airport (opening late September 2006), via a 300 metre underground walkway. The hotel features 612 rooms, 4 restaurants, 2 bars, a swimming pool, fitness centre and health spa. Banquet and convention facilities include 6 meeting rooms and a 850 square metre ballroom for up to 800 people. From Don Muang Airport (approx 55km), turn left at Lak Si Interchange onto Ramintra Road. Take Eastern Outer Ring Road, Bang Na, turn left onto Chonburi Motorway, take Suvarnabhumi Airport exit and follow signs to hotel. Hotel is within the new Suvarnabh umi International Airport Complex. North Highway access via new Chonburi-Bangkok Highway 7 and Rama IX, straight to the hotel and passenger terminal. South Highway access via Bangna Trat Highway and Burapa Vithi Express Way interchange.

This is a perfect place to stay for a stopover prior to using Bangkok's Airport. It is at present the only Hotel within a mile of the Airport therefore can charge slightly over the odds but the standards are excellent - clean, fresh, very impressive rooms. You have a choice of places to eat and also a tranquil Thai-style pool & sunlounger area in the centre of the complex. Far better than any Novotel I have come across in the UK!!!
